The flash estimate of International Trade in Goods points to increases in exports and imports in the 3rd quarter of 2024 of, respectively, 9.9% and 6.6%, in nominal terms and compared to the same period of 2023. It should be noted, however, that these changes largely reflect significant increases in processing transactions, without change of ownership.
The increase in goods transactions occurred for the second consecutive quarter, with year-on-year variations in the previous quarter of 2.9% in exports and 0.8% in imports.
