In the 3rd quarter of 2024, national airports handled 21.6 million passengers, corresponding to an increase of 3.1% (+4.8% in the 2nd Q2024).

In the same quarter, 54.7 million passengers travelled by train (+2.8%; +12.3% in the 2nd Q2024) and 68.2 million by metro (+7.1%; +12.7% in the 2nd Q2024). 

Passenger transport by inland waterways increased by 5.4% compared with the 3rd Q2023 (+5.1% in the 2nd Q2024), reaching 7.8 million passengers.

Regarding the transport of goods, there were decreases by road (-9.2%; -7.4% in the previous quarter) and increases by rail (+12.8%; -4.1% in the 2nd Q2024), by air (+18.2%; +12.8% in the 2nd Q2024) and by sea (+2.1%; +4.7% in the 2nd Q2024).
