Accessibility and Usability Statement
INE is committed to making the Website Agricultural Census 2019 accessible, in compliance with Decree-Law No. 83/2018, of 19 October, which transposes Directive (EU) 2016/2102 of the European Parliament and of the Council on the accessibility of websites and mobile applications.

The Agricultural Census 2019 website is partially compliant with Decree-Law No. 83/2018 of 19 October.

In accordance with Article 9 of Decree-Law No. 83/2018, entities must adopt the monitoring procedures set out below. Procedures A) and B) are mandatory. Procedure C) is recommended.

- The accessibility test carried out on the 4 selected pages obtained an average score of 9.6 on the AccessMonitor scale (1–10), reflecting a very good level of overall accessibility and demonstrating a high level of compliance with WCAG 2.1, although some aspects still require manual validation to ensure full compliance.

IV. Other evidence
At the time this Statement was completed, INE - Instituto Nacional de Estatística did not present any further evidence or efforts to bring its website into compliance with the accessibility requirements set out in Decree-Law No. 83/2018, of 19 October.
V. Reporting instances of discrimination
In accordance with paragraph 1 of Article 13 of Decree-Law No. 83/2018, of 19 October, whenever a person with a disability is subject to less favourable treatment than that which is, has been, or would be given to another person in a comparable situation, constituting a discriminatory practice against people with disabilities as provided for and punishable under Article 4 of Law No. 46/2006, of 28 August, that person may file a complaint, in accordance with the provisions of Decree-Law No. 34/2007, of 15 February.
The Instituto Nacional para a Reabilitação (INR, I.P.) provides a form for reporting instances of discrimination, forwarding complaints received to the competent authorities. Each year, INR, I.P. prepares an annual report on the application of the law that prohibits and penalises discrimination on the grounds of disability and the existence of an aggravated health risk (Law No. 46/2006, of 28 August).
